Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Aesthetic Injector

The Opportunity
This is the lead provider role within a family-oriented, owner-operated clinic that emphasizes professionalism, work-life balance, and exceptional patient care. You'll serve as the primary patient-facing injector while supporting broader provider responsibilities, including evaluations, documentation, and adherence to physician-led clinical protocols.
Success in this role requires outstanding clinical judgment, strong consultation skills, and the ability to educate patients on aesthetic and wellness solutions in a trust-based, never pushy manner.
What You'll Do
- Perform neuromodulator and dermal filler injections using advanced techniques while maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Lead comprehensive patient consultations, including facial assessments, treatment planning, expectation setting, and long-term maintenance strategies.
- Support provider responsibilities within established clinic protocols, including evaluations, documentation, and quality standards.
- Educate patients on aesthetic and wellness services, memberships, and treatment programs through consultative conversations.
- Maintain accurate medical records while delivering a premium patient experience in every interaction.
- Partner with clinic leadership to improve consistency, patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and long-term retention.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in good standing.
- Currently licensed in Iowa or actively completing Iowa licensure.
- Independent hands-on experience performing both neuromodulator and dermal filler injections.
- This is not a training position; candidates must be confident practicing independently.
- Excellent consultation, communication, and treatment planning skills.
- Comfort working in a performance-oriented environment where patient education, memberships, conversion, and retention are measured.
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation practices within a physician-led environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery.
- Experience or strong interest in longevity medicine, hormone optimization, and wellness-focused patient care.
- Comfort discussing hormone optimization and wellness services within established clinic protocols.
- Familiarity with consult performance metrics such as average treatment value, membership conversion, patient retention, and rebooking.
- Strong patient communication and service recovery skills.
- Experience mentoring injectors or helping elevate clinical standards within a team.
- An existing patient following or local referral network is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Compensation: $50–$65/hour base pay plus performance-based commission.
- Predictable Schedule: Tuesday through Friday plus a half-day Saturday schedule. The clinic is closed Sundays and Mondays.
